Plugging a great blog

4 04 2008

About a week ago, I started tuning into the question and answer discourse happening on LinkedIn, and I’m so glad I did. Yes, I learned some things about the topics I was following, but something far more beneficial resulted: I stumbled upon (huh, now I know how that site got its name) Jennifer A. Jones. She had answered a PR question with finesse. More than 25 PR people answered the same question, but somehow, her response stood out.

I wasn’t surprised to see she had been voted as a “Best Answer” on several of her responses. I clicked on her name, which took me to an abbreviated profile of her (I’m three degrees separated from her; my link is, of course, one of Garrett’s contacts), which offered me a link to her blog.

When I got to her blog, Speak Media, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the posts. She has great thoughts on PR strategy and how to weave social media into it.

I’ve added her to my blog roll and put her in our del.icio.us feed because I think many of you will really like her, too.
